Introduction
From the product engineering department, established in 1989, to today's automotive fluid pipeline system R&D center. 26 years of development history , it is also the growing process of Pengling. From the initial single hose to now the automobile multi-layer hose which can meet the various needs of the market , Pengling has always been toward "To be the leader of the Chinese fluid piping industry" goals.
26 years of development, Pengling has realized the transformation modes of supplying products from single hose to the assembly and module,it also has been through a number of technological innovations in the aspects of product variant and standard improvement.
In terms of fuel hose, the inner rubber layer since from the early 1990s began with using nitrile rubber, after more than ten years development, it has experienced a binary fluorine rubber, ternary fluorine rubber, peroxide vulcanized fluorine rubber and fluorine resin four stages. It has achieved many technological breakthroughs in the aspects of heat resistance, ozone resistance, chemical resistance, adhesive with the middle layer and equipment processing performance. At the same time, along with the engine surrounding temperature increasing demands,the outer rubber layer adoption from the initial of neoprene gradually updated to epichlorohydrin rubber, until recent years, the choice of ethylene acrylate rubber. This kind of material of the outer layer of the fuel hose from the original 150 ℃ temperature resistance level increased to 175 ℃, oil resistance increased from 135 ℃ to 150 ℃. In addition, also designed to take into account once the fire damaged vehicles, fuel hose under fire burning within two minutes of non-leakage requirements, thus providing passengers valuable time for escaping.
In terms of coolant hose,since from 1989 of plant early establishment, the company used natural rubber as inner layer, SBR as the outer layer and cotton as the reinforcement layer for the hose structure. To improve the hose inner and outer layers’heat and ozone resistant performance, between 1991 and 1995,in domestic rubber hose industry,Pengling first successfully used EPDM sulfur curing manner and improved the reinforcement layer as polyester yarn and rayon thus improved the heat resistance performance from 100℃ to 125~140℃,ozone resistance was improved from 50 PPhm to 200 PPhm,it pushed the EPDM rubber’s development and application in domestic rubber hose industry. Move into the 21st century,with the engine power’s upgrade, its surrounding environment has higher and higher temperatures, less and less space, cooling system hose must withstand higher temperatures. Again by technology upgrades, the company successfully applied peroxide cured EPDM, and introduced aramid yarn as the reinforcement layer, the temperature resistant levels increased to 160 ℃, while its resistance to compression set performance improved significantly.
On the basis of the two main categories of products, for years Pengling closely following the automotive industry trends and technical requirements, constantly enrich the product series and upgrade the technical standards and it has formed nine product series, and initially realized expansion from soft rubber hose to rigid nylon tube.
